UCF Fracking Conflicts in New York City and Texas Case Study Discussion

For this class i have an individual case study. With this topic there will be a later assignment due with it, later in the month. If you agree with this assignment, All i ask for you to be available for the final Case study assignment down the road due to it would be base on the topic you choose. Thank you.

Submit two potential intergovernmental topics to me for your case study, and rank them (#1, #2). Explain in a sentence or two a little more about the topic. The more applications the topic has to the course material (legal, fiscal, political, administrative aspects of intergovernmental administration), the easier it will be for you to complete the assignment. Make sure you can easily identify the two different levels of government, government organizations, or groups that make the topic intergovernmental. Where there is a difference of opinion between democrats and republicans is not really intergovernmental, it is purely political. Where the Federal Government differs from the State in an action (rules, mandates, guidance, court case), that is an intergovernmental topic.

You may not use a topic we cover extensively in class (e.g. certain aspects of DACA, ACA court case, etc., or any of the topics from the group case study). There are some topics that we only talked about briefly (e.g. marijuana laws, regional environmental laws) that you may be able to use – just run them by me first.
